Chico is the 2007 debut EP from MPC-juggling French hip hop producer Fulgeance, who combines heavy synths with crunching, electro-influenced beats across four varied and accomplished productions. Lead track 'Chico' thrives on a pattern of tumbling synth arpeggios and crisp handclaps, while 'Bien Rond' opts for a more subtle, minor key funk routine. Layered vocals and horn stabs bring some rowdiness on 'Tribute To Masekala', while elaborate break edits dominate closing track 'Impulsinfonietta'...
